And just when you thought you heard it all and things could not get any worse, along comes this kind of A case.

This 17 year old young man was visiting his girlfriend. He decided to walk to the local store and get A bag of Skittles for his little brother and A soda. While walking back to his girlfriends apt it rained A little harder so he stopped and stepped under an over hang till it slowed down some. He then decided to make A go of it, put his hood to his hoodie up and continued to walk towards the apartment. While walking back he was on the phone with his girlfriend telling her A guy is following him. She told him to just run and get back to the apartment. I do not know of one single person that has never walked with their hands in their pockets. I did not know that was against the law.

   Listen to the 911 call from Zimmerman, first he says he is following A suspicious person. Calls Trayon A few racial slurs,http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/03/trayvon_martin_case_did_george.php He then tells the 911 operator that "the person is approaching him" and "he has his hands in his pockets/waist band. The 911 operator then asked Zimmerman if he is following the person and Zimmerman said "yes I am". Now which one was it Zimmerman, were you following him or was he walking towards you? 

   The 911 operator clearly told Zimmerman to not follow him, but Zimmerman took it upon himself to do as he sees fit. I still want to know how/why he is allowed to have A permit to carry A concealed weapon after he was arrested for assault  on A police officer. And why was he allowed to be on the Neighborhood Crime Watchers with an assault charge on A police officer? And where does it say on the NCW sign does it say "all suspicious people will be shot on the spot"?

How can anyone say George Zimmerman kept Twin Lakes safe... Only one shooting death in the neighborhood and Zimmerman is responsible...

Under one of the laws in FL, Zimmerman had the right to defend himself. Defend himself from what?? A paper cut from the Skittles bag?

Margaret Lynn “Peggy” Reber.

This is A cold case from my home town. My aunt went school with Peggy. To this very day this has never been solved. Even with all the advancement in science this case is still cold. 
  Since this case went so cold so fast, everyone blamed everyone else for doing things wrong.
I just did research of all the articles I could find, which isn't many. But all you get is he said, she said. Everyone pointing fingers at someone else for either not following up on tips to calling it "shoddy" police work.
   Peggy's family is still in town. her father owns A used car lot, in which her bother also works at.

Adam's death earned national publicity, and Adam's father, John Walsh, later became an advocate for victims of violent crime and the host of the television program America's Most Wanted. Convicted serial killer Ottis Toole confessed to the boy's murder but was never tried for the crime. Although no new evidence has come forth, on December 16, 2008, police announced that the Walsh case was now closed as they were satisfied that Toole was the murderer of Adam Walsh. Ottis Toole died of liver failure on September 15, 1996.

   On July 27, 1981, 6-year-old Adam Walsh and his mother Revé went to a department store about a mile away from their home to shop for lamps. When they entered the store Adam saw several children playing video games on a television monitor and asked if he could stay to play. His mother let him stay and went to the lamp department, which was about 75 feet away. Because the lamp she wanted was not in stock she returned rather quickly, less than 10 minutes later, but couldn’t find Adam. After looking for Adam on her own for two hours, someone finally called the local police department. By the end of that week thousands of fliers with Adam’s photograph were distributed through the local area. Sixteen days after Adam disappeared from the store his body was found and identified.

As many of us already know. Some good has come out of this horrible story. Thanks to the Walsh family many kids have been saved by A program called Code Adam. When that code is set all doors close and lock. No one can get in or out of the store until that code is lifted.

                                                    America's Most Wanted

   Adams father, John took to the airways to help others  so they do not have to suffer like they did. He started A show called AMW (Americas Most Wanted). To help catch criminals that law enforcement were unable to locate. He used the show as part of his therapy. There are no words to express the sorrow we as A nation feel when these kinds of things happen. But  I will like to give A sincere thank to John and his wife for allowing people to hear his story and invite us into their lives when they were at their darkest moment.

I also found this article in which the dad claims the kids will only returned to him when he is released from jail. So why dont the police put that theory to the test. Put him on 24/7 house arrest for A few weeks to see if the boys get returned? http://www.wzzm13.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=170897

I am not defending this man in way, but he said he went to the police about the mother abusing the boys and the police say they have no records of it. I have read about many other cases where this has happened too. It seems some police depts dont want to take the time to file reports on minor things or on things that may take to much of their time. If the police dept didn't want to handle it they should have called CPS to look into it. That is what they are there for.

I am not saying in just this case but A lot of cases, if police depts and CPS would get involved maybe these children wouldn't end up missing, abused or murdered. There are always signs somewhere, In actions or words. I know that would be A huge under taking but the children are worth every second of someones time.

Most divorces are not cut and dry. Most have children involved. And the custody issues here of late have resulted in children being hurt or missing or even murdered.

As I have stated in other posts. I am A step mom of 2. And if we wanted to have the boys for something special on A weekend that was not our weekend we had to beg to have the boys. The control the parent that has custody of is nuts. You figure if A parent only has visitation every other weekend, that parent only sees their child/children 48 days out of A year and if you are lucky one week during the summer. That would drive A lot of parents nuts.

I was asked by A friend on twitter to do A blog about Lily. She is friends with Lily's mom via A FB support page.
I know very little about this case even though it is not far from me. All I can say is...What The Hell Is Wrong With These People??? I said it before and I will say it again for the millionth time, when you get married to someone with children they come as A packaged deal. Why does it seem the natural parent of these kids dont see warning signs that the step parent dislikes the child?  I am A step mom of 2 and my husband is A step dad of 3. But we have 5 kids. There is no mine or yours. They are our kids.
  I am not sure if this woman has kids of her own but I take it she has never heard the saying..."terrible 2's" At the age of 2 most children are trying to break out on their own and do things for them self. They hate being told NO you cant do that or NO you cant have that. I do not know of one child that has never in their life had a temper tantrum. My kids are grown and still pout if I say no to them.
  And I am sure at the age of 2 Lily was not fully potty trained. What did this woman expect from A 2 year old? Someone on twitter said once, there should be some kind of A test before you are allowed to be A parent. It is holding true even more about being allowed to be A step parent.

I wanted to do this blog on Polly for a few reason's. One, so she is never forgotten. And 2, I got A chance to meet her father via twitter and he is so polite and kind. I so admire what he has done for other children.
   Thank goodness for social media the way it is now. The word gets out much faster and more people see it with in minutes.  It is A shame that it takes tragedies to make people aware of the growing amount of sick people in the world. And that it takes this kind of case to make laws to protect our children and  keep them safer from predictors. I have lost count on how many new laws have been put in place due to the lost of such beautiful children. Just as I am writing this blog, Marc Klaas (Polly's dad) just posted A video via twitter on A press conference in VA to ask the for the money to continue coming into a fund to continue the funding for Alicia's Law.
   I can remember when I was young, we would go out in our pool at 1 AM just because we couldn't sleep. Now you have to be afraid to even step out your front door at 1 AM.
    There are many organizations that could use volunteers in many areas. Please look for one in your area and help other children.
